Sunday Serenity - Stillness

~ Stillness is Good ~

[I couldn't bear to ruin the mood of this photo by placing my copyright on it, but it's also one I took]

Sunday Serenity... simple garden Treasures

Geraniums and Pigeons ... Treasures???
Definitely.
Have a look below and see what I mean :

Crisp white, with just a whisper of  pink

Gentle pink

Rosebud-like

A baby Bronzewing Pigeon hiding under our Lilly-Pilly

Can't you just feel its little heart beating rapidly
(I kept a good distance away)

Beautiful Mumma Bronzewing - just a few human paces away from baby, keeping watch

The absolute shimmering beauty of her colours

Sunday Serenity... the softness of late afternoon light

There is a special softness in that transition of late afternoon into evening.

Whenever I take a photo, there is always an emotional attachment to it in some way.
These photos are favourites of mine... they evoke a feeling of serenity and
I hope you can  feel it too.

~ may your week be full of happiness

Sunday Serenity - Clydesdales, I think

I have no idea really if these are Clydesdales but they kind of look like they are.  Good enough for me.

They all just stood there and looked back at me.
I got a bit twitchy, thinking that I wish they'd move so I could take some more photos.
No, it wasn't going to happen.
A little lesson in life there I reckon - slow down and just enjoy the moment!

Temple by a lake

Am resting up from being a bit over enthusiastic in the garden,  so thought I'd share some more of our Thailand memories.

Still in Northern Thailand, we were taken to a blissfully peaceful spot...  a Temple, by a lake at Wiang Mai, where we fed the fish and soaked up the calm and peaceful atmosphere.

~ Have a peaceful week ~
