Splashes of Red in the Rainforest ~ Happy PPF

Hello!
Many years ago we drove up through the Far North of Australia and one of the spots we visited was the Daintree Rainforest.
As well as the intoxicating earthy and lush-growth smells of the forest, I can remember seeing vivid glimpses of red.
The photos I took came back washed out and didn't do justice to this beautiful place, however, in my mind,  I can see and feel that time as though it was yesterday.

So that was my inspiration when I recently painted a birthday card for a loved one and which is also my entry in this week's Paint Party Friday:

Huh? Where's Brekky?

I sat at the table, beside MD and waited for our brekky.

We waited..... and waited.

Where's the freshly squeezed orange juice?  The crisp bread roll? The fruit platter?  The banana pancake?

Oh, hang on - we're home again.

No guessing who's been spoilt rotten for 3 months!
