Regular visitors to this blog will know we spend a lot of time in the Gippsland Lakes area.
We recently soaked up the tranquility of the Saltmarsh Track - one of the many interesting walks within Nyerimilang Park. This coastal park also consists of a picturesque wildlife sanctuary, historic homestead, and beautiful botanic gardens.
(According to the lore of the Indigenous people of East Gippsland, the name Nyerimilang means chain of lakes.)

| MD picked a piece of this Native Correa for me to strike. (the piece is in a glass of water on my kitchen window in previous post) |

| I like the way the lichen covered branches intermingle with the wattle blooms. |
I've been doing a lot of posting lately. That's because, soon, I won't be. I'll be having an extended bloggie-break.
We're (excitedly) preparing to go on a long overseas trip through SE Asia.
Wow - we surprised ourselves! Seems we just can't get that travel bug out of our system, still just a couple of adventurous grey nomads at heart.
More about that later...
