Sunday Serenity - Clydesdales, I think

I have no idea really if these are Clydesdales but they kind of look like they are.  Good enough for me.

They all just stood there and looked back at me.
I got a bit twitchy, thinking that I wish they'd move so I could take some more photos.
No, it wasn't going to happen.
A little lesson in life there I reckon - slow down and just enjoy the moment!

Banana Equality Rules in our Household

We both love bananas,  but I don't eat mine as quickly as MD does and so I have the 'occasional' grizzle at the unfairness that I suffer because of that.

The other morning I went to grab another banana,  before  [eyes rolled upwards and teeth gritted]  my share had  further dwindled,  and found that MD had taken action to ensure fair and even banana distribution.

Yay, further proof that nagging does work!!

Wren... a little bit of blue

I'm linking up with Tassie blogger,  Evi, at her 'Sister Sun' blog.

Now, I'm a pretty unreliable linker-upper as I kind of forget ... or get my nose stuck in a good book (thanks Vicki!!),  however, today I've remembered and - yay - the theme is BLUE and I happen to have just the thing.

The blue tail of this gorgeously gorgeous little Wren.  Enjoy the tiny, delicate, cuteness:

"I'm so pretty"

"Pretty from this side too"

"Here, have a look at the back of me ... still pretty"

"Bet you haven't got those smart white flecks on the back of your tail ! "

"Ok time's up .... I'm outta here"

Have a look at the rest of the BLUES over at Sister Sun blogspot

... and if you're in the mood for reading stories that will knock your socks off (in a mysteriously, thrilling kind of way), hop over to Vicki Tyley's blogspot ... she writes them as well as reviews them.

Cheers and, as always, thanks for your visit :D)

Temple by a lake

Am resting up from being a bit over enthusiastic in the garden,  so thought I'd share some more of our Thailand memories.

Still in Northern Thailand, we were taken to a blissfully peaceful spot...  a Temple, by a lake at Wiang Mai, where we fed the fish and soaked up the calm and peaceful atmosphere.

~ Have a peaceful week ~
