Flowers, Flowers, Flowers, Flowers !

Hello!

I'm so into flowers at the moment.

They're driving me to ... paint 😊

Can't resist taking photos of supermarket flowers, so I filled my latest header with them.

Below are some pics from around the garden and some paintings from over this past month, inspired by the joy of flowers, pure and simple.

May I include one of my favourite thoughts:
"We may think we are nurturing our garden but, of course, its our garden that is really nurturing us" - Jenny Uglow
Our Grevillea "Robyn Gordon" in bud and,
below, in its full glory
Loving this time of year... its Grevillea Time!

Our 'Moonlight Grevillea'
I took this early morning and was amazed at the lighting and beautiful mauve colour that appeared.
I've done no more than the usual editing - a bit of contrast and sharpen.
Can't account for it and will happily enjoy this rather pretty occurrence

A bouquet for Mum

~ Thanks for your visit.
I shall be having a little break from posting, lots of things to catch up on, but will be popping in to say hi on yours every now and then.
Go gently ...
See you back here in a while-ish,

Bonsai Blossom ~ Happy PPF!

Hello!
Continuing to enjoy our Springtime - some days are cool to cold,  some are warm to fairly hot.
Seems word has been spread amongst the plants, and they seem to be adapting to the chaotic patterns that our weather brings.
Here's my entry for this week's Paint Party Friday... blossoms, bonsai, some old card that had a previous life, a bit of a dab here and there and it all came together happily:

Our little bungalow by the sea, on an island (Final Post # 5 Vietnam Travels 2019)

Hello!

Am sure I would win the prize for the longest drawn-out poster of holiday snaps in Blogland!

So, here are the final lot and, even though it was months ago now, I couldn't not share these because, well, it was a fabulously wonderful holiday.

Enough chat, here's the pics and a short video at the end:
The view we saw each morning... just a few steps away

I loved to get up early

...and flip flop around on the sand

our bungalow by the sea

Beach to the left of us

Beach to the right of us

To show where we were ... Phu Quoc Island, about a 40 minute flight from Saigon (HCMC)
... now back to the pics:
Each sunset was beautiful.
The weather was warm, not too humid and no mosquitoes
So much relaxing ...

A short walk to the restaurant

A little look inside the bungalow:

Don't think I stopped grinning all the time we were there!

Silhouette of my dear hubby, who organised it all and made sure my birthday wish, of staying somewhere by the water, came true
