DeleteOh wow, that last piece is gorgeous! The strong bright colours and the texture, really beautiful ... I keep thinking I should try to do some digital art but somehow I never get around to it. Still love the feel of paint on my fingers too much I think ;-) But some day I'll try it! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Denthe. I'd love to see what you would create digitally. Yes, I too love the hands-on painting feel, but sitting back in my chair and being able to paint while resting with the tablet on my lap is the ultimate in luxury... it's playful and relaxing - something different! Cheers and enjoy your weekend too :D) xx
Deletelove your art. I have a simple tablet but never seem to get used to it. Wish I could. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Monica, my tablet is also a simple one but I chose one with a stylus pen and had a lot of trouble initially but it's now an alternative source of fun! Hope you will find yours so too. Cheers! :D) xx
DeleteWhat a super selection you've given us Sue ...
ReplyDeleteThanks.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan, much appreciated :D) xx
DeleteYou can turn your hand to almost anything, Sue! So creative. I love them all, but I especially like the digital abstract. Very cool.

Thanks kindly Mel!
DeleteSue amazing job with all the paintings. That digital art is something I have yet to try. You are inspiring me. Take care and have a happy week. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much Debbie. It's a nice thing to do at certain times, I hope you give it a try! Cheers now :D) xx
DeleteAll your flower photos are so happy looking! Glad to read you do digital too. I was pretty much only doing digital for the last few years but just recently went back to "real" paint - the kind you have to clean up when you are done and put away - that's a drag but I enjoyed making a mess again at my table.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy, sorry I missed this comment but I make a point of going back and checking every so often :D)
DeleteIt's lovely painting in both ways isn't it, the digital I save for my 'resting' times in the lounge chair... lol, messing with paints - when you're in the mood - is wonderful too.
Cheers :D) xx
These digital artworks are tremendous, Sue.
ReplyDeleteI really love the first one, minimalist and graphic and just enough colour.
The third one is so different and I really like it too. That's a bright tablecloth!
I wonder which app you use on your tablet and do you use an actual pen/pencil thing to draw?
I hope you are picking up these comments on older posts now that you don't have email.
Have a great week (this week).
love
Sheila
Thanks Sheila... very much!
DeleteI use the 3D Paint app that came with my tablet and I use the stylus pen that was part of the package. It's fun to use.
Just a little by the by though, if you're considering buying a tablet and pen - get a good brand. Mine was a cheaper version and there were problems with screen scratching by the pen and, of course, the Seller, Kogan, offered no after sales service at all.
In the end, I put a screen protector on and ignore the scratches and get on with it!
Cheers, and lovely to have your comments :D) xx
Thanks for this, Sue, and the advice.
DeleteI'll look into it a bit more.
You've got great results with this app.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, going to see the news.
Around here we are in the winter and started punishing has frosted quite and the temperatures to our standard are super low.
I like this kind of drawing I loved it.
Good week's continuation.
janicce.
Oh goodness it sounds cold where you live. We're in winter too and have had some frosts but not super low temperatures such as you're having.
DeleteI'm really happy you enjoyed my little drawings. They are nice to do while sitting in my chair relaxing :D)
Thank you very much for your lovely visit Janicce xx
