  12. Love seeing your spring blossoms. They are so lovely. As for your painting...wonderful friend. Did you use acrylics? Love the story it seems to tell. Have a great week. Hugs!

    1. Hi Debbie, and thank you :D)
Yes I did it in acrylics... it's a section of one I painted on to some board - I have the whole painting over in my sideboard near the top and titled "Home is Where the Heart is". The story is a celebration of us being able to live in peace back in our little home - there's a longer story but it's all in the past and of no consequence now ;D)

  16. The blossoms are beautiful. Nice shots too. Do you have any wild life eating them?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Thanks Diane :D)
Nothing eating them .... yet! The Parrots are just waiting for the fruit though - just prior to that is when MD lets the birdnetting down to deter them, although some sneaky ones have learnt to find the tiniest of openings ;D)

    Alles Liebe

    1. Translation: "Oh, how lovely, dear Sue!
With us the vegetation year comes to an end. The October is often still quite beautiful and also very colorful ... But at the latest in November it is cloudy, gray, wet and cold ... I will then often look at you and enjoy your spring and summer with you!
      All the best
      Heidi"

Hello Heidi, thank you for your lovely comments. You've had a great growing season, from looking at your posts!
We are having some cold Spring weather today, but it brought some welcome rain for the garden so we can't complain. Cheers now and enjoy your Autumn colours :D) xx

  19. I wanted to make the same comment as Nadja before me. October in Germany started rainy and chilly. Lots of leaves are falling from the trees.
I wish you a lot of good cherries!

  25. Your cherry blossoms are just beautiful. I particularly like the simple elegance of the “Sunburst.”

Is there much difference in the fruit between the two varieties?

    1. Dear Vicki, thank you very much.
We've yet to find out about any difference. The weather decimated last year's crop but so far, so good. Cheers now :D) xx
