Thank you kindly Suzanne, we had a small crop last year but then the birds found out before MD had pulled the netting down! Yes, hoping for better crop this year. Cheers and thanks for popping over... have a lovely week :D) xx
fingers crossed those strong winds don't come back eh! However, the blossoms are proving quite tough ... so far. I loved seeing your vegie garden beds :D) xx
It's a pleasure to see this - here all leaves get colourful - and in your part spring has sprung! That is good to know ----- nature is wonderful! Happy October Sue
Hello, Happy October. Your cherry blossoms are beautiful. Spring is a lovely time of the year. Gorgeous images and painting. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and week ahead.
Thanks so kindly Eileen! Yes, most definitely, a lovely time of year... I was watching a Wattlebird pulling tiny bare sticks from our Ti-tree for a nest this morning - so much activity in the garden :D) xx
Love seeing your spring blossoms. They are so lovely. As for your painting...wonderful friend. Did you use acrylics? Love the story it seems to tell. Have a great week. Hugs!
Hi Debbie, and thank you :D) Yes I did it in acrylics... it's a section of one I painted on to some board - I have the whole painting over in my sideboard near the top and titled "Home is Where the Heart is". The story is a celebration of us being able to live in peace back in our little home - there's a longer story but it's all in the past and of no consequence now ;D)
Thanks Diane :D) Nothing eating them .... yet! The Parrots are just waiting for the fruit though - just prior to that is when MD lets the birdnetting down to deter them, although some sneaky ones have learnt to find the tiniest of openings ;D)
Alles Liebe Heidi
Translation: "Oh, how lovely, dear Sue! With us the vegetation year comes to an end. The October is often still quite beautiful and also very colorful ... But at the latest in November it is cloudy, gray, wet and cold ... I will then often look at you and enjoy your spring and summer with you! All the best Heidi"

I wanted to make the same comment as Nadja before me. October in Germany started rainy and chilly. Lots of leaves are falling from the trees. I wish you a lot of good cherries! Sigrid
