Your Bromeliads are so healthy and pretty, Sue. I'm not surprised you would have a sweet little tenant! He is enjoying the coolness and privacy, haha! Love your new header photo! Have a wonderful week. Hugs!
Hi Suzanne, thank you - they must be the hardiest plants... I have them sitting in pots of old pine needles, no soil needed - how cool is that! Cheers now xx
He’s found a comfy new home, and you won’t be moving him anytime soon, but what a lovely tenant to have! I enjoyed the photos, thanks for sharing them. Have a good week.
It's hard to resist visiting him each day but I've learnt not to photograph them too much - they do allow one pic though ;D) Great to see you, cheers now xx
oh yes, definitely got to be friendly! The cranky ones fly off fortunately ;D) We are lucky with our climate - even though this winter was the coldest for a while they still made it through. They're under a shadecloth awning. Cheers Jenny :D) xx
I Sue - love your little frog, what a great place to sit! We have tree frogs who live outside my 'studio lol' window in the summer and I keep a little bowl of water there for them. Reading your post prompted me to glance at the bowl and lo and behold there was my tree frog sitting in the water! Thanks for reminding me to look. xx
aw, that's so nice Lin - I love that you told me this. Our froggies are so cute aren't they. In the hotter months, a little pale one, (with yellow feet) likes to sit between the verandah floor boards directly underneath a bowl of water I have out for the birds. Thanks for your visit and I hope you enjoy your day :D) xx
It was a delight once more to find the frog... I'm looking forward to the crickets returning as well, now that the weather is warming up. Really lovely to have you visit, thank you :D) xx
Oh, wow, what an awesome surprise. Awesome and cute. I'm a big frog fan. :)
Our water tank is home to a big family of these curious amphibians. Every evening at dusk, there's this wonderful chorus. Unfortunately, a pair of kookaburras have heard them, too, and have taken to sitting on a low branch waiting for them to emerge.
Those froggie calls are beautiful... (except for that huge fellow who drove us crazy with his forlorn 24/7 mating calls a long while back). Uh oh, watch out for the kookas little guys! Thanks for popping by Vicki, glad you enjoyed :D) xx
Thanks so much Maria, it was mere chance that I saw him/her too, I don't always think to check each plant. Hope all is great up your way, great to see you :D) xx
