Sharing Happy Moments

Isn't it lovely to be able to share a good dose of  joy!

One of our sweet granddaughters, N, has been busy creating smiles of joy on the faces of all who know her and we (MD and I) proudly share some photos with her kind permission.

Recently N graduated from Year 12 and here she is looking so very elegant and graceful:

💕 One of the things that impressed me on that special day was that, before she left home for her busy schedule of the Formal proceedings, N made a point of including a young girl who lives in the neighbourhood, in some of her photos.  The young girl was so shy, but absolutely thrilled to have her photo taken beside N.
We've all had those shy moments at some point in our lives haven't we... kindness always begets kindness 💕

Those who have been following my blog, may recall I posted over two years ago of N's generosity in donating a length of her hair to be used in the making of real-hair wigs for women with cancer.
Here's N with her donation back then:

Now, with a lot of hair-growing since,  N decided to add some colour to her life in this most gorgeous way.  Again, her joyous attitude to life is infectious!

We love it Dear N...

enjoy your beautiful long blue hair... can imagine it swirling around  :D)

~ Cheerio for now, thank you for taking the time to read this post.
May you experience unexpected kindnesses in your life ~

  1. Good Morning Sue. Gosh, your granddaughter is very beautiful. She does look very elegant in her formal dress! And, I believe that donating your hair for cancer patients is a most kind and unselfish act. Hair almost always grows back, and she has beautiful, healthy looking hair. Wow...love the color, and her hair is very long and thick!

This is a lovely post, Sue. Thank you for introducing your beautiful granddaughter. Have a wonderful week, and a very Merry Christmas with your family! ♥

  6. Your grand-daughter is indeed very elegant and graceful. Just gorgeous. My youngest daughter also graduated high school recently. She is so thrilled to have it all behind her. And like your grand-daughter donated her long beautiful hair 3 years, shaved it all off and raised a lot of money in the process. These 2 are every alike in their thinking!

    1. Hello Lynda, thank you kindly for popping over... oooh yes it's been a very proud time in the family on account of N - she's put big smiles on all our faces.
What a happy time in your family as well. The way they celebrate graduations nowadays really gives a proper acknowledgement of all the hard work they've done each year (and especially in that final year) to get to that point doesn't it.
Your daughter did a fantastic effort in donating all of her hair - good on her and what a decision eh! Like the school work, it takes time to grow their hair to those lovely lengths, it's nice to think of the worthy causes to which their generosity has contributed. Cheers for now and all the best :D)

    1. Absolutely Debbie! Even as a baby, N's hair looked as though gold and copper threads were woven amongst it, it shone so beautifully. Prior to donating her hair N followed all the suggested dos and don'ts in order to keep it in prime condition.

Lovely to have your visit, have a beaut Christmas and eat far too much!! Cheerio for now :D) xx
