Love your photos, Susan. Chuckle chuckle about your response to that 'proposition' from that truck! lol. Enjoyed a peep at your painting and what gorgeous visitors also checking it out :-)
Hi Susan, I love the look of your artwork, and so apparently do those pretty birds. Free range children and animals made me smile, but an important reminder to slow down. I also liked the look of your pelicans, different coloring to ones I have seen recently. Great post!
Thank you Denise, those pelicans are quite different to yours aren't they - ours aren't as tame as those ones you came across. Although they feigned temporary tameness in order to get a chip or two from us :D)
Hi Susan, How funny and clever are the 'follow me' trucks! And, that's a great shot of the Pelicans! Your subjects just seem to love you-me, I have to chase them down and usually just get back behind shots! Haha! So what creature was the poor waif? I can't tell what it is-guess my eyes are tired!
So good to see you today, and, your fresh post! Hope you are doing well. See you soon! ♥
Hi Suzanne, yes, actually the trucks were good - they guided a few cars at a time through some busy sections of road works. Not a bad idea. Thanks too re the pelicans... we bribe them terribly ;D) That little creature was a big torn old soft toy doggie - just had to get a pic! Beaut to have you visit again and thanks, as always for your lovely thoughts :D)
aw thanks very much Vicki - I've just to look at my fridge door and see those messages from you ... such fun ;D) xx Yes, the painting is wonderful (umm I mean it's wonderful to be back doing it again!). In the middle of another crab at the moment (painting it that is ;D))
Thanks Diane, I love a giggle too :D) That poor little waif thrust carelessly on the side of the highway was a torn old soft toy doggie - I reported it to the "Cruelty to Soft Toys Association" too.
Hi Jenny, yes, I love a lot of things about pelicans - and love when their beaks "clack clack" as they have a scratch too! Thanks re the painting, it's of Fairy Dell, a lovely little piece of rainforest we like to visit occasionally. It is one of my favourite paintings and I'll put the finished version in a post :D)
