Temple by a lake

Am resting up from being a bit over enthusiastic in the garden,  so thought I'd share some more of our Thailand memories.

Still in Northern Thailand, we were taken to a blissfully peaceful spot...  a Temple, by a lake at Wiang Mai, where we fed the fish and soaked up the calm and peaceful atmosphere.

    Another lot of your lovely photos Susan! It certainly looks a nice peaceful place but my goodness!... look at those fish when they see food!!! lol

    the place looks amazing
    although the fish are a bit scary!!

    I love the photo of the clouds reflected in the water
    it is like a picture postcard.

    I can see where inner turmoil would melt away visiting such a calming area (except for those fish--hungry little rascals aren't they? lol). Thank you, Susan for sharing some of your fondest memories with us all.

      it just called out for photos ... wasn't sure how the monk would react at me taking his, but he didn't mind. Glad you enjoyed them Cherri :D)

    Oh Susan this is so peaceful and calm yes I love it. It is a little hectic here this weekend we are in the midst of haying. "Make hay while the sun shines". Take care Susan Love your photos. B

      thanks Jill - it had a really nice atmosphere around it. Made sure I didn't fall in though ... those fishies would have had me for lunch I'm sure ;D)

    Yes, peaceful and relaxing. Love your gorgeous photos, and, the fish scurrying for food brings out the great colors of the water. Water photos are the most tranquil and pleasing to the eye. See you soon!♥

      thanks Susan :D) I also enjoy including the watery element (whether it's peacefully still or in motion) in photos. Some of those fish were huge too!
