Hello dear Sue! Such a gorgeous picture! I love poppies and how beautifully you catch the bees with your lenses! Thank you for sharing! Have a happy December and a lovely week! Hugs! Dimi...
That's a fantastic photo of the poppies and the bees. No poppies here just now, but at least we're getting some rain today! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
The bees do love poppies, don't they. In fact sometimes I think it's like a drug to them. All our bees have gone to whereever they go in Winter so I'll just enjoy yours today, thanks!
Poppies are definitely on their Main Menu Sheila ;D) After reading your comment I wondered where bees went in Northern Winters... ours only come out of their hive when the temp gets to 10deg Celsius and above. Anyway, Google says they enter a period of extended dormancy in which to wait out the winter months.. so yours are all tucked up in bed having a nice sleep! Wise :D)
Yes Duta, the bees would have no trouble seeing the poppies... their red is vibrant! Thanks and it was sheer luck I caught the flying bee in this photo :D)
They're lovely aren't they, glad you liked the picture ... even if leaving you a bit homesick :D) Yes, life is good for us down here in the South East but poor Queenslanders have been copping it with so many fires of late. It will be a bad fire season for many we're being told.
Just gorgeous!!!
